With an
excellent record of played 12, won 10 and lost 2, the Under-11
“A” team has shared this year’s Monmouthshire Building Society
County League title with Llanarth CC. Despite two early season
set-backs, the small squad improved tremendously as a team over
the summer months. Leaving their best performances until last,
the team finishing with excellent away wins when the pressure
was on against Chepstow and most importantly Llanarth - who had
dominated this age group over the past three years – with
Croesyceiliog showing levels of professionalism and composure
far beyond their years!!
A great
team spirit - with all of the players working for and
encouraging each other - good and sensible batting, straight
bowling and excellent fielding really set the team on the road
for a great season. Well done to the whole squad of girls and
boys for having such a fantastic season.

receiving the shield from Glamorgan player Huw Waters at the
Gwent League Presentation evening at St. Julians school in
October. Thanks Bruce for the ties!!!!!!!!!
